The Re-Volt soundtrack was composed by Simon Robertson, Stephen Root, Larry Lush, Phil Earl and Dominic Glynn.

On the PC and PS1, the Soundtrack is playable on Audio CD players and features some gapless transitions between tracks, for example from tracks 3 to 5. The audio begins with 02 since 01 is the data track, i.e. the game itself.

The Dreamcast version, however, features independent tracks. They have proper intros and outros. The N64 version had a different soundtrack entirely. Due to limited game cartridge space for the console, it features sequenced music.

Each race track has its own .inf file that includes a REDBOOK line. This line tells the game what music tracks to play. The first number stands for the first track to be played, the second the last one before it starts over again. The game decides which track to play first randomly, from set range of the first number and the second. If both numbers are the same, only one possible music track will be played.

In REDBOOK, the first track starts from number 0, instead of number 2.

Supermarket Battle (markar) doesn't play CD music, because it is missing the ‘REDBOOK’ line. It could have possibly been a developers oversight before releasing the game. We suggest using ‘4 9’, since two other ‘Supermarket’ tracks have the same setting.
